State College Office Is Now Closed Due To A Fire At The Church
The Woodycrest United Methodist Church in Patton Township was involved in a two-alarm fire early Saturday morning Sept 14, 2024. No one was in the building at the time, and the cause remains unknown.
The sanctuary had extensive damage, and the roof over half of the building was removed. Signs posted around the church stated that it has been determined to be unsafe and occupancy is prohibited.
The church provided space for the State College Computer Ministry office. The State College office will be closed until a new location can be found.
